Today I have a very fun and very exciting post for you all – Swatches of Colors by Llarowe‘s newest collection titled Krispy Kreme Dreams! Per Leah Ann:

Krispy Kreme dreams are what you get when you gorge on Krispy Kreme doughnuts before bedtime.  I chronicled these dreams on my personal Facebook page in case you would like to hear the entire story.  My friend Denise suggested that I also eat a banana with the doughnuts.  I did and I must say that the second night’s dreams were even better.  I have always dreamed in vivid color and wake my husband up regularly laughing in my sleep.  These colors are as crazy and vivid as my dreams.

This fun and whimsical 6-piece collection launches Sunday, February 20th! More on that later but first…. SWATCHES!

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree Daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

“Ben Affleck is Sheila’s Homeboy”

Ben Affleck is Sheila’s Homeboy is a super bright cheery red intense linear holo with intense red and slight blue flame. Shown here is ONE coat no top coat. When it comes to formulas, you can’t get any better than this! Just one fantastic coat gives you complete, even coverage. This polish is intense – in a good way! From the bright red base, to the linear holo, to the stunning glowing red flame, this is the red holo of my dreams!

“Caviar Wishes and Keanu Reeves Dreams”

Caviar Wishes and Keanu Reeves Dreams is a bright violet with slight red undertone linear holo. Shown here is two coats plus top coat.  Formula is wonderful! So smooth and so buttery! This polish dries semi matte and subsequently deepens in color when top coat is added. Depending on the lighting, this polish varies from a bright violet grape to almost blurple hue. It’s quite interesting and is my favorite thing about this polish!

“Giant Giraffes in My Yard”

Giant Giraffes in My Yard is a bright, deep grape purple scattered holo jelly with intense glowing pink shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Once I applied the first coat, I thought I was going to need three to achieve opacity but this polish has great second coat coverage. I LOVE the added pink shimmer – it really does make this polish glow! If you catch the shimmer just right, it actually completely changes the color of the polish from a deep grape to a berry magenta! ❤

“High School was Rough Man”

High School was Rough Man is a stunning vivid sea green scattered holo. Shown here is ONE coat plus top coat.  Formula, of course, is fantastic! This polish has that special glowing effect that is oh so hard to describe but oh so magnificent to look at 😉 Not to mention, that sea green – kind of blue, kind of green – hue is mind blowing!

“Amoebas Contain Tiny Spacemen”

Amoebas Contain Tiny Spacemen is an amazing bright, vivid blue linear holo with green and blue shimmer and green metallic iridescent flakes. Shown here is ONE coat no top coat. This polish is absolutely phenomenal. It’s magnificent, extravagant, stunning, incredible – I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH! And the added flakes are the perfect touch! They look like glowing amoebas floating in a holo blue sea which I’m sure also has a few tiny spacemen in it. How else do you explain how out-of-this-world this polish is?! 😛

“Bananas and Krispy Kremes are Better Than HBO”

Last up is Bananas and Krispy Kremes are better than HBO – a bright almost neon lime green linear holo with yellow and green flame. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This polish dries semi matte so you’ll want to use a top coat to bring out the shine and holo! You know what’s better than bananas and Krispy Kremes? THIS POLISH. When I saw it, all I could say was “YAAAAAASSSSSS!” I immediately ran and took it into the sun and well, died. I died and went to neon holo heaven. Is it possible for a polish to give you goosebumps because of how astounding it is? Why yes, because I have them right now.

Overall Thoughts

You need them. You need them ALL. No ifs, ands, or buts.
