Ah! My first official post and I could not be happier that I am writing about the awesomeness that is the one and only “I Survived Black Friday!” Collaboration Box! This limited edition box contains THREE brand spanking new holographic polishes by Cupcake Polish, DIFFERENT Dimension, and Glisten & Glow. As if it couldn’t get any better, this box also contains holographic nail decals by NailVinyls! Now that I’ve reeled you in, let’s get on to the grand reveal!

“Shop ‘Till You Drop” Holographic Nail Decals

Each box comes with two sheets – one silver and one gold. As for the decals themselves, they consist of all the things a girl could ever wish for! Shoes, perfume, lipstick, purses, nail polish, and money! – well dollar signs (close enough!)

The level of detail on these decals is incredible! They are rigid enough to easily peel off the sheet yet flexible enough to move around and stick to the curvature of your nail.

For easy handling, top your mani with HK Girl Top Coat (or other top coat) prior to placing the decal and top off with one coat (or two for longer lasting wear) of top coat.

Trampled by a Shopping Cart is a beautiful lilac holographic polish containing pink/lilac flakes. This is my first time using Cupcake Polish and let me tell you I don’t know what took me so long! Two smooth and even coats with one coat of HK girl top coat over both the polish and decal. Now let’s take a closer look!

“First in Line”

First in Line is deep purple holographic polish. It too has added purple shimmer for extra “oomph!”  I’ve been a long time user of HK Girl Top Coat but never tried Jill’s polishes. Definitely no complaints here! Another two smooth coats with top coat. Let’s see those macros!

“Up All Night”

Up All Night is a gorgeous dark teal gold holographic polish. This baby is a beauty! Perfect formula, perfect application (as with all DIFFERENT Dimension holographic polishes!). Although I used two coats with top coat for this swatch, I could have easily gotten away with one. Close up time!

Overall Thoughts

I LOVE this collab! I am a sucker for anything holographic and this box is full of it (as if you couldn’t tell from those macros!). Although the polish color scheme is fairly similar, I think it works extremely well and opens up the door for some awesome nail art! Nail decals are very easy to use and durable. All polishes have great formula and are opaque in 1 – 2 coats.
