Salon Perfect – Spring 2015

Hello Everyone! Today I have swatches of Salon Perfect‘s Spring Pastel Collection to share. This collection consists of 6 shades, 5 of which are new for 2015.

All swatches were taken under indoor lighting.

“Put a Ring on It”

SAMSUNG CSC

Put a Ring on It is a soft pastel pink creme polish. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. I had slight self leveling issues and balding at the base of my nail but all was covered after the third coat. I feel like the consistency of this polish is what you would expect with this shade of pink. I want to mention that I wore this polish for almost 5 days with a peel off base coat and experienced NO CHIPS OR LIFTING! Woo!

“Georgia Peach”

SAMSUNG CSC

Georgia Peach is a pastel orange creme polish that leans a little more pink than orange. Shown here is three coats with top coat. This polish has the same consistency as Put a Ring on It. I didn’t mind having to do three coats with either polishes because the dry time was pretty good.

“Mellow Yellow”

SAMSUNG CSC

Mellow Yellow is a pastel yellow creme polish. Shown here is two coats with top coat. This polish is not as pastel as the others but I don’t care because I love this shade of yellow! I was pleasantly surprised with the formula.

“Mint Julep”

SAMSUNG CSC

Mint Julep is a mint green creme polish. Shown here is two coats with top coat. This polish is an old favorite from Salon Perfect. Upon opening my package, this was the polish that I was most exited to try and I was not let down! Great formula, great application, great shade!

“Cold as Ice”

SAMSUNG CSC

Cold as Ice is a baby blue creme polish. Shown here is two coats with top coat. Another great shade that I think will complement any skin tone perfectly!

“Lilacking Control”

SAMSUNG CSC

Lilacking Control is a lilac creme polish. Shown here is two coats with top coat. No complaints with the formula and again the shade is great.

Overall Thoughts

Despite a couple polishes being a little patchy during the first couple coats, I think this is a good collection. The cohesiveness is perfect and the colors are definitely what I imagine when I think spring. As an added plus, these polishes work great for watermarbling! My favorites would be Mint Julep and Cold as Ice.

All 6 shades are available at your local Walmart for $3.98 each! Visit http://www.salonperfect.com for more information or check out their instagram here!

These polishes were provided for my honest review.
