While I’m pretty bummed that summer is coming to a close, I’m getting pretty excited about fall especially with all of these great upcoming fall collections! This post is all about KBShimmer‘s new Fall 2015 collection which released today!

This collection consists of twelve polishes – five crellies, four cremes, one holo, one microglitter, and one shimmer flakie!

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

“Breaking Blues”

Breaking Blues is a darkened periwinkle blue creme. Shown here is ONE coat plus top coat. This polish is slightly more purple than my photo shows. Formula here is great! Very rich and creamy which results in a very smooth application.

“Soul Deep”

Soul Deep is a deep midnight blue creme with purple undertones. Shown here is ONE coat plus top coat.  This shade is also slightly more purple than my photo shows (what is it with my camera and blurples?! lol). This polish has great coverage and formula!

“Such a Vlad-Ass”

Such a Vlad-Ass is a deepened blood red cream with a slight blue undertone. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. The blue undertone gives this polish a slight maroon hue which makes it a great red creme for the fall season! Again, the formula is amazing!

“Teal It to My Heart”

Teal It to My Heart is a rich teal creme. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. I was able to achieve full opacity and coverage in one coat… but I smudged my index a little so I added a second coat to cover it up. Of the four cremes in this collection, this one is my favorite! And of course, the formula is wonderful. 🙂

“Fig-Get About It”

Fig-Get About It is a darkened burgundy holo with gold shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. You all know how much I love holos and this one is no exception! Wonderful formula and the holo is quite strong. I’m also really digging the added gold shimmer! ❤

Staring at this macro makes me fig-get about everything else in life!

“I Feel Gourd-geous”

I Feel Gourd-geous is a beautiful coppery champagne micro holographic glitter. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. While sponging micro glitters onto the nail is the most efficient way to achieve full coverage, I wanted to see how this polish covered on its own and I’m quite pleased! Usually three coats with a micro glitter isn’t very fun but the formula here is really thin so I had absolutely no issues with application. The glitter to base ratio is perfect as is the dry time and leveling!

Look at all those holo micro glitters! ❤

“Be Scareful”

Be Scareful is a white crelly with orange and black circle, shred, and hex glitters with orange star glitters. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This crelly is really easy to work with application wise. I did have to fish for the star glitters but that’s only because there aren’t that many in the polish. I do wish there was a little bit less base in this polish but that’s just me being picky. The white base with the orange and black glitters make it perfect for Halloween!

Plus, this polish glows bright green in the dark!

Sadly, I didn’t realize this until after I swatched this polish so that is why I only have a glow bottle shot. But don’t fret! You can check out GITD swatch photos here!

“Open Toad Shoes”

Open Toed Shoes is a soft olive green crelly with navy, burgundy, and chartreuse glitters with hints of holographic shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. I’ve have got to say that Open Toad Shoes might be the most unique polish in my collection! I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the olive green base but I actually think it works pretty well with my skin tone. It has a wonderful glitter to base ratio and the formula is just as wonderful.

“Dark & Twisty”

Dark & Twisty is a black jelly loaded with fine metallic glitters in a rainbow of colors. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. I reached full opacity in two coats but I added a third to darken the black base. You can also choose to layer this polish over black to reduce the amount of coats. I don’t think that is necessary though as this polish applies just like a creme – super smooth!

The rainbow metallic glitters make this polish so fun and cute!

“Talk Qwerty to Me”

Talk Qwerty to Me is a teal shimmer with tons of blue and gold micro flakes. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. This polish right here is an absolute beauty and is the PERFECT mermaid polish! I cannot get enough of it and trust me when I say that you need Talk Qwerty to Me in your life. Like yesterday!

Those flakies are killing me… in a good way!

“I’ve Seen Sweater Days”

I’ve Seen Sweater Days is a baby blue crelly with cobalt blue, lime green holo, teal holo, and silver glitters. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. I had a slight visible nail line after the second coat so I added a third for complete opacity. This is another polish that I am completely in love with! The formula is seriously perfect and there are TONS of glitters that don’t require fishing what-so-ever!

“Carpe Denim”

Last up is Carpe Denim – a navy jelly full of holographic glitters of various sizes. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. First off, the formula, like all the others in this collection, is wonderful. Second, WOW! I love the richness of the navy jelly base! The glitters look like stars floating in a perfectly clear night sky. Instant galaxy on my nails! ❤

So, so stunning!

Overall Thoughts

I think this is a wonderful fall collection! I absolutely love the diversity – there really is something for everyone. I don’t know how KBShimmer does it but the formulas on the crelly polishes (all of them really) are some of the best I’ve seen! Each polish is so smooth, dries great, and levels exceptionally well. This girl is one happy swatcher! Oh, and I have to add that I am totally obsessed with the names of the polishes. They are all so cleaver!

My picks are Talk Qwerty to Me (you need this!), Carpe Denim, I’ve Seen Sweater Days, and Fig-Get About It.
