I’ve got swatches of Fair Maiden Polish‘s newest collection – an amazing Valentine’s Day Trio inspired by Greek Goddesses Aphrodite, Athena, and Persephone! This trio launches today, January 31st, at 8:00pm CST, so let’s not waste any time! 🙂

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

“Aphrodite”

Aphrodite – the Goddess of love, desire, and beauty

Aphrodite is a warm toned slightly orange leaning red jelly holo with fuchsia and copper flakes. Shown here is two coats NO top coat. Amazing formula! Great consistency, wonderful application, and dries and levels very well. If you’ve been following my blog for a bit, you’ll know that I’m not a huge fan of red polishes. This one, however, is one that I adore and can actually see myself wearing! I don’t know what it is about it – I just know that it’s fantastic!

“Athena”

Athena – the Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, and strength

Athena is a rose gold toned nude linear holo with added metallic gold shimmer and iridescent micro flakes that shift from gold to green. Shown here is two coats NO top coat.  Formula is perfection! I absolutely love the delicacy of the nude rose gold yet powerful bang of the holo and metallic shimmer! So stunning!

“Persephone”

Persephone – the Goddess of flowers

Last up is Persephone – a rich plum jelly base with gold flakes and orange to pink color shifting flakes. Shown here is two coats NO top coat. Just like the other two in this trio, formula is top notch! The mix of flakes in this polish is exceptional and is definitely something that you need to see with your own eyes. My pictures do not do this polish justice!

Overall Thoughts

I love Fair Maiden’s collections and this one is no exception! Even though it’s just a trio, there is a nice range of colors and finishes. Formulas are wonderful (like always!) 🙂 Fair Maiden puts lots of thought into their collections and it shows – from the theme, to the polish names, to the polishes themselves. It’s what makes them one of my favorite indie brands! ❤

I love these polishes so much that I don’t have a clear favorite – which might be a first!
