It’s the middle of the month which means time to reveal next month’s The Holo Hookup box! This indie collaboration includes Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow as constant contributors with a new guest maker and theme each month. The theme for March 2016 is ‘The Candy Shop’ and features guest maker Fair Maiden Polish!

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

Cupcake Polish – “Lemonheads”

Lemonheads is a bright golden yellow intense linear holo with heavy gold and pink shimmers. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Wonderful formula! I was hoping for a brighter polish given how bright Lemonheads are but I’m really loving the golden hue. The added gold and pink shimmers give this polish a speckled almost flakie look that I think is wonderful!

Different Dimension – “Blue Raspberry Airheads”

Blue Raspberry Airheads is a bright teal leaning blue linear holo with heavy silver shimmers and holo micro glitter. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This polish is fantastic – from the formula, to the blue hue, to the added shimmers, and of course the holo finish! I love it so much! ❤

Fair Maiden Polish – “Now & Later”

Now & Later is a dusty grape purple linear holo with added pink and gold flakes. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Another great formula – so smooth and buttery! Now I have a lot of purple holos but none are this shade! It’s a very unique hue that I think will look great on all skin tones 🙂

Glisten & Glow – “Pink! Rock Candy”

Pink! Rock Candy is a bright pink linear holo with cherry and silver holo micro glitters and pink shimmers. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Just like all the others in this box, this polish has an amazing formula! This is hands down one of the best hot pink polishes in my collection! Plus the fact that it’s also a holo is the cherry on top of an already incredible cake 😉

Overall Thoughts

This is one sweet Holo Hookup box! – Pun intended 😛 Like always, each maker did a great job with the theme. Of all the HHU boxes so far, I think this box has the best mix and match possibilities within itself. Each polish is bright, fun, and whimsical! Not to mention, formulas are all perfect 😀
