Spread Indie Love Box – Winter Edition

One of my favorite things to review are collaboration boxes and I’ve got a very special one for you all today. Spread Indie Love Box is a seasonal indie collaboration box that contains polishes, bath and body products, and more! With each new box comes new makers as well as bloggers that review them so I was extremely honored to be chosen to review this Winter edition box!

This season’s box contains five polishes, two bath and body products, and three super cute samples!

Let’s start off with the bath and body products 🙂

Handmade Natural Beauty – Goatmilk Soap

Facebook | Instagram | Website

Handmade Natural Beauty’s contribution is handmade Goat Milk soap in Chestnut & Brown Sugar. I have never heard of goat  milk soap before so this was really intriguing to me! As per the note on their package, “Our Goat Milk Soaps are wonderfully creamy and moisturizing. Those who have sensitive skin or eczema, may find goats milk soap to be ideal to gently cleanse, soothe, and moisturize.”

I am really sensitive to fragrances (especially food scents) and I am happy to say that the smell of this soap is absolutely divine and not overbearing! I cut off a small piece to sample it and I think it is wonderful! It really is creamy and you can feel the moisturizing element as you are washing your hands. My hands felt clean but not extremely dry as they usually get with standard soaps. This is a product that is great for both men and women – I say this because my boyfriend has already claimed it as his. 😛

Lou It Yourself – Bath Bomb

The second bath and body product in this month’s box is Bath Bomb by Lou It Yourself in Winter Frost scent. When I first opened the box, the aroma of this bomb filled the air! Unfortunately, I don’t have a bath tub so I was not able to try this out but I did take a small piece and tested it in a bowl of water. It fizzed instantly and filled the air with it’s wonderful aroma. ❤

Now let’s move onto the polishes!

Dollish Polish – “Winter Solstice”

Facebook | Instagram | Website

Winter Solstice by Dollish Polish is a blue jelly base with blue and copper glitters and added shimmer. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. This polish is really easy to apply and control. The glitter to base ratio is practically perfect! You don’t have to fish for any of the glitters and they distribute very well across the nail. I love the added shimmer and glitter contrast of this polish!

Ever After Polish – “First Frost”

Facebook | Instagram | Website

First Frost by Ever After Polish is a pearly pink/lavender shifting holographic with a touch of holographic glitter added. Shown here is three coats plus top coat. This polish builds opacity well with each coat. It’s really easy to control and dries quite fast. I love the lightness and delicate essence of this polish! The holographic elements blend very well with the pink/lavender base.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer – “A Bit of Bubbly”

Facebook | Instagram | Website

A Bit of Bubbly by Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer is a nude crelly with a subtle gold and pink shimmer. Shown here is four coats plus top coat. I had about 95% opacity after the third coat so I added a fourth coat to get it to 100%. I had a little bit of trouble getting this polish to level out evenly. After seeing what the other bloggers had to say about this polish, I think it was definitely operator error. I would recommend thin coats and waiting a couple of minutes between coats. I think the nude shade of this polish compliments my skin tone very well. The added gold and pink shimmer is stunning!

Polish ‘M – “Feelin’ Frosty”

Facebook | Instagram | Website

Feelin’ Frosty by Polish ‘M is a light grey crelly with violet shimmer, sky blue holographic micro glitters, and teal and purple flakies. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Such a great formula for a polish with so many added elements! It is really easy to control and I had to do ZERO clean up after application. I am obsessed with the flakies in this polish! They are absolutely wonderful! This polish has winter written all over it 🙂

Cupcake Polish – “Only Have Ice For You”

Facebook | Instagram | Website

Last up is Only Have Ice For You by Cupcake Polish – a mint/aqua linear holographic with silver flakies. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. I loooooooooove this polish so much! Everything about it is pure amazingness! The formula is perfect, the mint/aqua base is gorgeous, the holo is wonderful, and the silver flakies are to die for!

Overall Thoughts

This box is so awesome! Talk about a variety of makers and products! The polishes included are each so different yet still have a winter feel to them. The two bath and body care products are made exceptionally well. The samples are absolutely adorable and smell great! This is a great box to not only have but to gift as well 🙂
