Who’s ready to see swatches of the upcoming January 2016 The Holo Hookup Box?! I know I am! 🙂

This indie collaboration includes Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow as constant contributors with a new guest maker and theme each month. The theme for January 2016 is ‘Love Is In The Little Things’ and the guest maker is Polished by KPT!

Love is in the little things like your first date, while enjoying a little bit of bubbly, followed by walks in nature and then you have your first kiss…

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

Cupcake Polish – “First Kiss”

First up is First Kiss – a very light pink super crazy linear holo with subtle metallic gold shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Per usual, the formula on this Cupcake Polish is outstanding! Super buttery, super smooth, super easy to control! As far as the shade goes, I’m in love! Such a pretty pink hue and there’s just soooo much holo!

Is this not the prettiest pink linear holo you’ve ever seen?!

Different Dimension – “A Little Bit Of Bubbly”

A Little Bit Of Bubbly is a beautiful light gold holo filled with gold shimmer, gold micro flakes, and gold holographic micro glitter. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Talk about absolutely fantastic! This polish is breathtaking! I gasped when I first opened it, I gasped when I swatched it, and I gasped the entire time I was photographing it! Words cannot describe the love that I have for this polish so I’m hoping that my photos say it all. ❤ ❤ ❤

All I need is a little bit of bubbly… and this polish!!

Glisten & Glow – “Walks In Nature”

Walks In Nature is a deep emerald green linear holo with blue undertones and added purple, blue, and gold flakies. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Such a wonderful formula! Great second coat coverage! I love the green hue of this polish – it gives it such a forresty feel. The flakies are an amazing addition to this already amazing polish!

I’d walk through this polish all day long!

Polished by KPT – “Date Night”

Last up is Date Night – a black holographic polish filled with a multitude of blue, violet, purple, olive, and gold color shifting micro shimmers. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This polish is absolutely perfect! The formula is exceptional and the black holo base with color shifting micro shimmers is to die for! This is one of those polishes that looks different depending on the lighting it is under. So, so magical!

This is one date that I would love to go on! 😉

Overall Thoughts

What a way to start of the new year! The theme of this box is so freaking cute and each shade works so well with it! All polishes have fantastic formulas that cover in two easy peasy coats. Each polish is full of holo that you can see in any kind of lighting. This month’s box will definitely have you hooked up in the holo department!
