I’ve got China Glaze‘s Cheers Collection for you all today! I’ve actually had this collection for a little bit now but went through an unexpected move so things got a bit crazy and well… I am now playing quite the game of catch up. Anyways, this collection is available now at Sally’s, Ulta, other local beauty supply stores, and of course, your normal China Glaze online retailers.

“Wine Down For What?”
Wine Down For What? is a vampy burgundy wine creme with slight brown undertones. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Formula is really nice! It’s very creamy and has great coverage. It’s a great staple polish to have!
“Bring On The Bubbly”
Bring On The Bubbly is a gold and holographic hex glitter topper. Shown here is one coat over Wine Down For What? plus top coat. This polish is easy to apply and is filled with glitters but I did find that the glitters moved around a bit during application. Lucky, I was able to use the brush to move them into empty spots. This is a polish that would look great sponged on!
“Mix And Mingle”
Mix and Mingle is a vibrant medium purple crelly with slight blue tones. Shown here is two coats with no top coat. I am really impressed with the formula of this polish! It applies very well and has a great second coat coverage.
“Brand Sparkin’ New Year”
Brand Sparkin’ New Year is a deep purple jelly with purple and silver holographic hex glitters of various sizes. Shown here is one coat over Mix And Mingle plus top coat. Alone, this polish is quite sheer so I decided to use it as a topper which I think is the better choice. This polish is packed full of glitter resulting in really nice distribution and coverage!
“Better Not Pout”
Better Not Pout is a vibrant magenta with metallic shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This polish is really easy to apply and control! I did notice slight brush strokes due to the metallic shimmer but they weren’t as noticeable once I applied top coat. I absolutely love the shade of this polish – it’s so gorgeous!
“Break The Ice”
Break The Ice is a fun holographic shard topper. Shown here is one coat over Better Not Pout plus top coat. Such a cool concept! The shattered glass effect is a huge trend right now so this polish makes it easy to achieve that look. As far as application, I found that I got the best results when I dabbed it onto my nail.
“Peppermint To Be”
Peppermint To Be is a very warm red crelly with pink and gold shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. This polish has amazing coverage and formula! While I do love the shade and added shimmer elements, I don’t think it’s very flattering to my skin tone.
“Ugly Sweater Party”
Ugly Sweater Party is a sheer red jelly with blue, pink, red, and holographic hex glitters of various size. Shown here is one coat over Peppermint To Be plus top coat. This polish is very easy to apply and control. Plus, it has perfect glitter distribution! This is another polish that looks best over a base rather than on its own.
“I Soiree I Didn’t Do It”
I Soiree I Didn’t Do It is a sheer teal jelly packed with teal and silver holographic micro glitters. Shown here is three thin coats plus top coat. This polish applies and builds quite well! I love the teal base and added micro glitters. This polish is my favorite of the jelly glitters in this collection and one of my favorites overall!
“Son Of A Nutcracker”
Son Of A Nutcracker is a bright coral orange with added pink – gold shimmer. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Great formula! This is such a gorgeous polish – another favorite!
“Coal Hands, Warm Heart”
Coal Hands, Warm Heart is a black jelly base filled with black, blue, and silver holographic hex glitters. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. I did not expect to get the amount of coverage that I actually got in two coats. It is really easy to apply and is jam packed with glitter – as you can see from my swatch 🙂 This polish reminds me of a star-packed night sky! ❤
“Don’t Get Elfed Up”
Last up is Don’t Get Elfed Up – a deep teal base filled with teal blue and purple duochrome shimmer. Shown here is to coat plus top coat. First, how freaking awesome is the name of this polish?! 😛 Second, this polish is BEAUTIFUL! Hands down, this is my favorite from the collection. I love the darkened teal base and the added shimmer is to die for! ❤
Overall Thoughts
This collection as a whole is wonderful! China Glaze really brought their A game with fun and bright colors to celebrate the New Year. I love collections that have various colors and finishes and this one is no exception. There is definitely something for everyone! Formulas are overall really great and I had no issues with any of the twelve polishes.
My favorites are Don’t Get Elfed Up, I Soiree I Didn’t Do It, Son Of A Nutcracker, and Wine Down For What?
As I stated above, The Cheers Collection is available for purchase now at Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply. MSRP $7.50 for individual shades. You can also find this collection at select local beauty supply stores and select online retailers.
