I have a special Cupcake Polish duo that was created for a special charity group to share with you all! Crystal’s Charity Lacquers was founded in April 2015 after Crystal contacted a number of brands with the idea of creating custom or one of a kind polishes that would be given away to people who supported Crystal’s fundraising through donations. On June 5th, she launched the group to the public after the overwhelming support she received.

The first two fundraising giveaways benefited the SPCA and The Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research. The success of the giveaways was beyond anything that Crystal could have imagined! After the giveaways ended, she decided to keep the momentum going in the group until the next giveaway (coming this Spring!) by doing monthly sales – each benefiting a different charity.

All swatches were taken indoors under a combination of Cree daylight and LED bulbs using a Samsung NX300 camera.

“Furever Loved”

Furever Loved is a vibrant bubblegum pink linear holo with gold shimmer and micro silver flakes. Shown here is ONE coat plus top coat. Talk about amazing! Formula is fantastic! I am usually not one for pinks but there’s something about the bubblegum hue that I can’t get over. The added gold shimmer and micro silver flakes are elements that completely elevate this polish. It was definitely love at first brush stroke 😉

“Best Fur-iends”

Best Fur-iends is a gorgeous bright electric blue linear holo that’s jam packed with violet-pink iridescent flakes. Shown here is two coats plus top coat. Great formula! So smooth and easy to control. I am obsessed with the electric blue shade of this polish! The added flakes are stunning and are very visible in person. Absolutely fantastic!!

Overall Thoughts

I love everything about this duo! The colors, the added elements, the names… but what I love most in the reason for their creation. I think it is truly amazing what Crystal’s Charity Lacquers is doing for not only the indie community but the respective charities that benefit from these fundraisers.

As I stated above, this duo launches this Friday, January 15th at 5pm PST / 8pm EST and will be available for purchase here. Each polish will be $15.00 USD. These limited edition polishes will only be available through February 7th and once they are gone, they’re gone forever!
